Insight launched in the UK and Ireland on 5 April 2016 and closed on 3 June 2019. The channel was owned by Hilversum-based TERN (Television Entertainment Reality Network). The channels output was factual entertainment, offering “interactive, immersive and dynamic viewer experience”. The channel was broadcast in HD on Sky 279. Insight is now a streaming only operation in the UK and Ireland.
