Abu Dhabi Al Oula is an Arabic television station that originally launched in 1969 but was re-launched in 2000 and again in 2008. It broadcasts from Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates and is owned by Abu Dhabi Media Company.

Abu Dhabi TV 2015 to 2020 Idents & Presentation
Abu Dhabi Al Oula was rebranded to Abu Dhabi TV on 22 March 2015. New presentation was launched including idents, trailer graphics and menus. The new look was created by Les Folies designhaus. The channels idents feature famous landmarks from Abu Dhabi and promotes the various Abu Dhabi TV social media accounts.
Abu Dhabi TV 2013 to 2015 Idents & Presentation
Abu Dhabi Al Oula unveiled its new presentation in December 2013 part of a network wide re-branding developed by Red Bee Media. Tasked with developing new channel propositions and brand identities for its four flagship TV channels and news content brand, Red Bee Media set about creating network branding that felt inspirational and encouraged people to join Abu Dhabi’s resurgence. The new look for Abu Dhabi Al Oula (know as Abu Dhabi TV in the UK) entitled ‘Happiness, shared’ shows people in the city of Abu Dhabi having fun. This is the first 16:9 aspect ratio presentation used by the channel.
Abu Dhabi TV 2008 to 2013 Idents & Presentation
A new look for Abu Dhabi Al Oula was launched in October 2008. The new look was produced by Lambie Nairn graphic designers and the soundtrack was made by David Lowe who produced the famous BBC News music. At the time of recording the only ident airing was the ‘Boat’ ident. Three other idents were used at launch – Car, Desert and Fountains.
